Though Gates Carbon Drive belts can go thousands of miles when properly cared for, many times the life of an equivalent chain, Priority is proud to carry genuine Gates Carbon Drive components for when the time comes to replace your belt.
CDN belts come standard on most our models and are rated to -4°F. These are recommended for leisure and urban riding and in climates that do not regularly see use below the stated temperature rating. Note, CDN belts are not rated for use with Pinion gearboxes.
CDX belts come on our high performance bicycles and are rated to -65°F. The material is higher quality than CDN belts with an even longer wear life. The belt models/lengths listed below are how we ship our bicycles. For a stronger belt you can upgrade a CDN equipped bicycle to a CDX belt in the same length. Note, CDX belts MUST be used with the Priority Current and all Pinion gearbox equipped models.
